About Nagzira:

The Nagzira Wildlife Sanctuary is a miraculously preserved "Green Oasis" in the eastern most part of the Maharashtra State and has a great importance from bio-diversity conservation point of view. This sanctuary is locked in the arms of nature and adorned with picturesque landscapes, luxuriant vegetation and serves as living outdoor museum to explore and appreciate nature. This wildlife sanctuary is indeed nature's priceless asset and beckons one and all to enjoy its picturesque landscape, its scenic beauty, its pure and fresh air. 

A heaven for nature lovers, Nagzira Wildlife Sanctuary is a home to large number of animals and bird species including the Tiger. It lies in Gondia District of Vidarbh region of Maharashtra having an area of 152 Square Kilometer.The land vegetation of this sanctuary has diverse type of vegetation ranging from dry mixed forest to moist forest and is is  Southern Tropical Dry Deciduous forest. The habitats of sanctuary include 34 species of mammals, 170 species of birds, 36 species of reptiles, 4 species of amphibians and number of fishes, 49 species of butterflies and number of insects and ant species.

Cancellation Policy -

In case a participant cancel his booking for the trip, cancellation charges will be applicable as below.

Before 30 Days: 10% of the tour cost 
Between 15 to 30 Days: 20% of the tour cost
Between 2 to 14 Days: 50% of the tour cost
Day of Departure or on event: 100% of the tour cost

1. Carry your Identity Card
2. Consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited

3. Please wear Dull/Earth colored clothing in the forest.
4. Avoid use of strong Perfumes/Deodorants.
5. Cap/Hat would come in handy during the morning and afternoon Safaris.
6. Please carry your medications (if any) as the same would not be easily available in Nagzira.

Himalayan Trek to Pindari and Kafni Glacier

The Nisarga Bhraman brings you an exciting summer adventure with action packed trekking in Himalayas. Summer is the season to visit Himalayas at its best. Not only do we escape the sweltering heat and grime of the city but also we find solace in nature and adventure.

We will be visiting Pindari and Kafni glaciers; trudging up precipitous passes, sliding over the sizzling snow fields, and gorging on the soul-stirring scenery while conversing with the Himalayan fairies at altitudes of 3,000 to 3,800 metres.

This event is being organized in Collaboration with Sussat… Rebel on Wheels.

PINDARI & KAFNI GLACIER TREK

This world famous glacier is a trekkers paradise, as it is easier to visit than most other glaciers. This glacier is situated between snow capped NANDA DEVI and NANDAKOT mountains. The river Pindari originates from this glacier. The glacier is at an altitude of 12532 ft. (3820 mtrs). The entire trekking route is filled to the brim with natural beauty. The beautiful view of Kumaon Himalaya can be seen from the Zero point of Pindari
Glacier.

Itenerary - 

Day 01	25-May-13 Saturday	Train from Bandra T to H.Nijamuddin	By Train
Day 02	26-May-13 Sunday	Arrival at Delhi in the morning. Proceed to Kathgodam in the afternoon.	By Train	Arrival at Kathgodam.	Over night stay at Kathgodam.
Day 03	27-May-13 Monday	Kathgodam to Song Song to Loharkhet. (A small hamlet on the banks of river Saryu)	Drive Trek	195 kms 04 kms	Over night stay at Loharkhet.
Day 04	28-May-13 Tuesday	Loharkhet to Dhakuri. (Moderate and mainly uphill walk)	Trek	11 Kms	Over night stay at Dhakuri.
Day 05	29-May-13 Wednesday	Dhakuri- Accliamatisation (A beautiful campsite and place to acclimatize for the altitude)	Trek		Over night stay at Dhakuri.
Day 06	30-May-13 Thursday	Dhakuri to Khati. Khati is the biggest village enroute Pindari. Khati village lies at the confluence of Pindari and Sundardhunga Rivers. Entire route passes through lovely landscapes, rhododendron lined path and majestic peaks to accompany you.	Trek	08 Kms	Over night stay at Khati.
Day 07	31-May-13 Friday	Khati to Khatiya The mountain greenery is at its best here. Also look for Himalayan birds and wild-life	Trek	16 Kms	Over night stay at Khatiya.
Day 08	1-Jun-13 Saturday	Khatiya to Kafni Glacier & back to Dwali. The Kafni glacier lies left of the Pindar valley and the Nandakot. The main Himalayan summits visible from Kafni are Nandakot (6806 M) and Nanda Bhanar (6104 M)	Trek	19 Kms	Over night at Dwali.
Day 09	2-Jun-13 Sunday	Dwali to Phurkiya	Trek	05 Kms	Over night at Phurkiya.
Day 10	3-Jun-13 Monday	Phurkiya to Pindari Glacier & back Trek The Pindari Glacier measures 3 kms in length and 0.25 kms in breadth. It owes its existence to the vast quantities of snow precipitated from Nanda Devi and other lofty summits of the greater Himalayan range. It takes its name from the Pindar River, which originates in the trails pass above the glacier.	Trek	19 Kms	Over night at Dwali.
Day 11	4-Jun-13 Tuesday	Dwali to Khati to Dhakuri	Trek	18 Kms	Over night stay at Dhakuri.
Day 12	5-Jun-13 Wednesday	Dhakuri to Song Song to Nainital.	Trek Drive	14 Kms 175 Kms	Over night stay at Nanital or Nearby.
Day 13	6-Jun-13 Thursday	Go for Nainital Sightseeing or relax Nainital to Delhi in the evening	By Bus	300 Kms	Night Journey to Delhi
Day 14	7-Jun-13 Friday	Refreshment & Lunch at Delhi. Train to Mumbai in Afternoon	By Train		Night Journey to Mumbai
Day 15	8-Jun-13 Saturday	Reach Mumbai

Only physically fit person between age 10 to 65 years can join this trip. Submitting Medical Fitness Certificate and Risk Certificate is mandatory before departure. ***Seats limited***

Trek Cost: Rs. 15,500/- Per Person (Kathgodam to Delhi) + Rs. 2500/-* (Train Fare – Mumbai – Kathgodam & Delhi – Mumbai Garib Rath 3AC)

*If train cost increases at the time of journey, difference shall be borne by Participants at actual.

• Any thing which is not mentioned above

Rules and Regulations: We make every effort to provide you the best services all the times the times but kindly note that this is a Trek nor tour or picnic. We are requesting you to go through these rules & regulations very well prior to booking. It will avoid misunderstandings between you & us.

Limitations: We are a group of Adventure loving people. We do not control or operate any airline or any other mode of transport like shipping, railway, motor, buses, coach etc. We also don't own or control any Hotel. We only select but do not control in the running of them. Thus we are not responsible for any change in flight / train schedule, missed sightseeing / overnight stay, any overstay, any injury, loss, personal harm,
death or damage of the person or property which may be caused by the act or default of the management or employees of any independent contractor / operator arising outside our normal selection and inspection process. It is imperative that all the participants who are joining our group to abide by and strictly comply and observe all the terms and conditions lay down herein.

Smoking and consumption of Liquor is strictly prohibited

Unavoidable Circumstances: If an Event program has to be changed / extended / cancelled due to reason beyond our control like riots, political unrest, strikes, accidents, or any natural / man-made calamities, the participants will have to accept changes made in the itinerary , hotels, transport and bear the additional expenditure incurred to facilitate the same and the participants will not be entitled to any refund either full or
part.

Procedure of Payment: At present there are three payment options available.

1.Cash Payment (Only at Mumbai)
2.Cheque. (At par- Payable at Mumbai) or Demand draft of any Nationalised bank. Outstation cheques will not be accepted.
3.Online payment directly in our account. Bank details & account number will be informed on request.
You will get E-receipt directly through Mail in all three options.

Representatives: Nisarga Bhraman appointed Representatives to facilitate information, dissemination, and Event booking. All payments made to our representatives will have to be account payee cheques or DD only. E- Receipt will be generated send through E-mail to the respective Participant. Seat will be confirmed after generation of E-Receipt only.

Photographs: Nisarga Bhraman reserve the rights to publish the participants' “ Photographs or Group Photos” taken during the trek / Event without intimation or permission from the said Participant/s. Photographs shown in this post may differ from the actual site seeing places.

Cancellation: In the event of Participant cancelling his bookings for the trek the cancellation charges will be as follows:
Before 30 days:                                  Rs.2000
Between 15-29 days:                          50%
Between 02-14 days:                          80%
Day of Departure or on Event:             100%

Refund: Refunds, if any, for amendments and/ or cancellations will be paid directly to the participants, by the group strictly by 'A/C payee' cheque.
