Fireflies Special Trek to Rajmachi on 15th June 2013

The cool monsoon winds will start blowing in from the sea’s to quell the summer heat, the looming black clouds will start to make their presence felt. Soon the rains will arrive in their full glory to quench the thirst of the parched earth.

The small window in time just before the rains arrive gives us the opportunity to witness a beautiful spectacle of dazzling fireflies. It’s the mating season for these fireflies & as a result thousands of them light up around trees and shrubs making it a rare and beautiful sight.
We, at Nisarga Bhraman, would be heading for a Trek through the forest of Rajmachi to try and capture this scene in our eyes and camera if possible.
