About the place -
Amboli is a small hill-station nestled in the western ghats at the height of 710 meters above the sea level. This hill station in Sindhudurga district is knoknown as 'Cheerapunji of Maharashtra'. Its one of the cleanest and greenest hill stations for the wildlife. A dream destination for Naturalists, Amboli literally blossoms in the monsoon. A walk on green misty trails, beautiful scenery, waterfalls, a loads of biodiversity and delicious konkani food makes it a perfect location for a short trip.
