About Bandhavgarh -

Bandhavgarh National Park is a most popular tourist destination for wildlife and nature lovers. The park got the status of national park in the year of 1968. Sprawl over an area of 450 Square Kilometers, the Bandhavgarh National Park is known for its breathtaking array of flora and fauna. Its geographical positioning has gifted a repository of over 250 species of birds and 22 different species of mammals. Though, the park is considered as the real home of white tigers but the park provides shelter to several Indian wildlife species like Leopards, Sloth Bear, Jungle cat, Jackal, Bison, Cheetals, Langgors and Sambars. The spring season January through March is an ideal time to explore the wildlife of the park. The place is equipped with legendary themes like- full of rich history and natural beauty. Think of some 2000 years ago when this Bandhavgarh fort was built, still it is standing with great cliffs and eroded rocks.

The tourist area is devided in three zones - Tala, Magadhi and Khitauli.

Gir National Park & Wildlife Sanctuary comprises 1412 sq km of deciduous forest interspersed with semi - evergreen and evergreen flora, acacia, scrub jungle, grasslands and rocky hills. Fed by perennial and seasonal rivers and streams, the sanctuary has large water bodies like the Kamleshwar Dam that are good for crocodiles and birds. It is the last abode of the big and regal predator Asiatic lion (Panthera leo persica), an endangered species.

About Tadoba:

Tadoba Tiger reserve borrows its name from the local Tribal lord Taru. Legend has it that lord Taru was killed in a fight with a Tiger. The people from adjoining villages held a procession in honour of the lord until the government banned the procession ever since the forest was declared a Tiger Reserve.

The forest is famous for carnivore animals such as Tiger, Leopard, Bears, Wild Dogs and Hyenas. It also has a rich population of Spotted Deer, Sambar Deer and Indian Gaur i.e Wild Oxe. The forest is spread over 625 sq. km. Of the total 625 sq. km, Tadoba National Park constitues 116.55 sq. km. which was created in the year 1955. Rest of the area is called the Reserve. In Tadoba, recorded species consist of 45 species of Mammals, 279 species of Birds, 94 species of Butterflies, 26 species of Spiders, 30 species of Reptiles.

Pench National Park is four different forest regions in one, an extravagance of trees, shrubs, grasses, climbers, weeds and herbs, with teak being the most prominent of the tree species. The park is home to 33 species of mammals, 164 species of birds, 50 species of fish, 10 species of amphibians, 30 species of reptiles, and a wide variety of insect life.While primarily and reservation for tigers and panthers, Pench is also home to sambhar, chital, barking deer, nilgai, black buck, gaur, wild boar, chausingha, sloth bears, wild dogs, langurs, monkeys, mouse deer, black-naped hares, jackals, foxes, hyenas, porcupines, and flying squirrels, to name a few. 
Here, birdlife is equally bountiful. The feathered denizens of Pench include both resident and migratory birds like Malabar pied Hornbill, Indian pitta, Osprey, Grey-headed Fishing Eagle, White-eyed Buzzard, Stork, Waterfowl, four endangered Vulture species, and the Green Pigeon, which is a State Bird.
