Nisarga Bhraman has arranged a Bird Watching Tour near Barvi Reservoir, Badlapur on 2nd December 2012. Grab this opportunity of the guided tour with a well known Naturalist and wildlife expert, Mr. Rajesh Sachadev.
About the place: Barvi is a reservoir/dam on Ulhas River, supplying water to Ambernath/Badlapur &
Dombivali MIDC. The catchment of this reservoir is surrounded by
deciduous forest such as Teak , a favourite habitat of Racket-tailed
Drongos, Orioles and Rufous treepies. On an average day, in
non-wintering season , one can see 30 + forest and grassland birds including Babblers,
woodpeckers etc. It is around 12 Kms of drive from Badlpaur on Murbad
road.
Meeting Point: Badlapur Railway Station at 6:30am
Cost of the tour would be Rs 150/- for Members and Rs 20/- extra for others which includes -
