About Sasan Gir -

Gir National Park & Wildlife Sanctuary comprises 1412 sq km of deciduous forest interspersed with semi - evergreen and evergreen flora, acacia, scrub jungle, grasslands and rocky hills. Fed by perennial and seasonal rivers and streams, the sanctuary has large water bodies like the Kamleshwar Dam that are good for crocodiles and birds. It is the last abode of the big and regal predator Asiatic lion (Panthera leo persica), an endangered species.

Day 1: Friday, 14th April 2016

• Reach Rajkot by 10:00 am and rransfer to Sasan - Gir
• Check in to the resort, Freshen up & Lunch
• Evening Jungle Safari at 15:00 Hrs

Day 2: Saturday, 15th April 2016

• Wake up Early, Freshen up
• Morning Jungle Safari at 6:00 Hrs
• Bird Watching Session, Lunch & Rest
• Evening Jungle Safari at 15:00 Hrs

Day 3: Sunday, 16th April 2016

• Wake up Early, Freshen up
• Morning Jungle Safari at 6:00 Hrs
• Transfer to Rajkot Railway Station
• Travel by Train 19006 Saurashtra Mail, at 17:45 Hrs

Day 4: Monday, 17th April 2016

• Reach Mumbai Centrel by 7:10 Hrs

• Please wear Dull/Earth colored clothing in the forest
